Our local daily paper has a feature that I really enjoy: the Sound Off column. As explained by the paper it’s a “… daily column featuring anonymous comments on virtually any topic.”
I usually save Sound Off for last; there’s almost always a comment there that gives me a laugh, and who doesn’t need a laugh after reading so much of today’s news!
Anyway, I found the following yesterday; it’s one of the cleverest I’ve seen in a while, and it falls under the category of “Things I Wish I’d Thought Up”.
This morning I was a victim of a robbery. The perpetrator was about 5 feet tall, heavyset, and when I approached him, he had his finger in his left ear. Eyewitnesses at the scene say it was a gas pump, but I can’t be sure. I was in a state of shock.
After just filling my car up, to the tune of $48.40, I can so totally agree with the comment!
Some days ya gotta laugh to keep from cryin’.
